the lady of the lake
Sep. 11th, 2022 05:25 am
AGE: Over 6000 years (in this manifestation as an Avalon le Fae), unknown (Morgan's original self).
GENDER: Female.
HEIGHT: 170 cm.
RACE: True Fae Elemental (A-REI/A-RAY), originally one of the Great Mothers.
MORGAN LE FAY (LADY VIVIAN, AESC THE SAVIOR)
FATE/GRAND ORDER
ABOUT
CANON POINT: Variable. Defaults to somewhere between meeting Artoria Caster and Fujimaru, rewarding them with QP, and ordering the destruction of the Wales Forest. I have no interest to play Morgan as a Chaldean Servant, just fyi.
VISUAL: Winter queen + Close up.
BUILD: slim and fairly voluptuous (for the artist's style).
HAIR: Light blonde, borderline silver (as Morgan); golden/bright blonde (as Vivian/Aesc). Sometimes, it gains a shade of gradient blues closer to the tips.
EYES: Pale blue (as Morgan); blue-green (as Vivian/Aesc).
FEATURES: A notable feature is her mark as Avalon Le Fae under her bellybutton. She also paints her lips blue as the Winter Queen.
VOICE: Yui Ishikawa.
MUSIC: Winter Memories. Burnt Storybook. Winter Throne. Avalon Le Fae: Beginning (Fairy Britain map theme). Aesc: Queen Morgan battle (+ fan remix). .
ORIGINS: Avalon; the British Lostbelt.
FAMILY: Her foster mother, the leader of the Rain Clan (deceased). Her adopted daughter and heir Tam Lin Tristan (Baobhan Sith). Artoria Caster is her "next generation" of Avalon le Fae, so symbolically both a sister and a daughter. She acknowledges her counterpart's relatives, as well.
RELATIONSHIPS: She claims the Crypter Beryl Gut as her "husband" as means to grant him a rank as gratitude for summoning her Proper Human History version and compensating when he died when she changed the past, resulting in the Fairy Kingdom creation. She has no feelings for him (and it's mutual). Their "relationship" is a farce. Formerly, during her journey as Aesc the Messiah, she was in love with the human Uther, the Knight of Londinium. It's vague if they became lovers or not, despite their mutual feelings, or if he was engaged to marry Mab or he persisted to marry Aesc against her counsel (she wanted Mab and Uther to rule together to prioritize her 'ideal Britain' where humans and fairies lived in harmony and wars ended). Either way, the Knight of Londinium was poisoned during his coronation, his Round Table slain by the other fae who thought that peace was "boring."

PERSONALITY
ALIGNMENT: Lawful Evil (Morgan). Lawful Good (Aesc the Rain Witch/Vivian). Lawful Neutral (Aesc the Messiah).
ATTITUDE:
VIRTUES:
VICES:
QUIRKS:
LIKES:
DISLIKES: Proper Human History, caterpillars.
HOBBIES:
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: BLURB BLURB
MOTIVATIONS: BLURB BLURB
FLAWS: BLURB BLURB
EXTRA: The Fairy of the Lake has a dual nature as Vivian and Morgan, "good and evil", "hope and despair" (representing two sides of Excalibur). This remains the same in Proper Human History where Type Moon boards the vague Arthurian legends of Morgan (that makes her composite with other characters like Morgause and, in the oldest take, Nimue) as the same being playing different roles: Morgan, the loving human sister of King Arthur and wife of King Lot, mother of many heroic knights like Sir Gawain. The Lady of the Lake Vivian, a powerful fairy who assists the heroes and loves the planet. Fata Morgana, the divine avatar of Britain, the bitter enemy of Arthur and the Human Order. The triple goddess Morrigan is also Morgan, apparently. Her PHH self was very tormented because of this condition. While Lostbelt Morgan has three names and roles ("Aesc" being the name her foster mother gave her), they don't coexist so she does not suffer from multiple personalities. Her personality changes were due to her circumstances and tragic experiences. She's more stable and not as malicious as Fata Morgana despite taking that role.

ABILITIES
CLASS: Berserker? True Fae? A-Rei? She's also called the "Avatar of Mystery."
WEAPONS:
INVENTORY:
STRENGTH:
DEXTERITY:
CONSTITUTION:
INTELLIGENCE:
WISDOM:
CHARISMA:
SKILLS: BLURB BLURB
EXTRA SECTION: Morgan has the dubious honor of being one of the few enemies the protagonists of FGO and their allies couldn't best, not even to a draw. She overwhelmed and beat their rebel armies on her own. Oberon notes that it wasn't possible to defeat Morgan in an all-out war and that the best strategy to deal with her is intrigue, betrayal, and assassination which is what eventually worked by using two of the people she still secretly cared for against her. These actions were performed by third parties with their agendas and not by Artoria Caster or Fujimaru's knowledge. The Chaldean had prophesized Chaldea wouldn't be able to stop her. He was correct. This doesn't mean she can't be beaten by strong opponents, but that her main weakness is among her allies than her foes. LB6 is very rich in world-building and political aspects and these interests me more.

PERMISSIONS
BACKTAGGING: Absolutely. I'm easily overwhelmed, so I'll backtag forever unless I hit a block with a thread.
THREADHOPPING: If it's a "text" message one style, I don't mind.
FOURTHWALLING: This is tricky. They can know who Morgan Le Fay is because she is quite infamous, but don't four-wall anything from the Fate series, please. β₯
ROMANCE: Morgan's very committed to one thing: possessing/saving Fairy Britain and has little room in her heart for anything else, but I'm ok in situations in shipping specific memes. For something more 'serious,' it has to be slow-burn. Morgan is secretly starved for affection and any positive feedback (romantic or platonic). Her romantic type is actually leaning on those kind, friendly, and pure-hearted idealists (like Uther was). Platonically, she has more empathy for broken and world-threat cases (such as her Tam Lin) or anyone reminding her of herfantasy RPG party old companions.
MINDREADING: She's a powerful witch and a fairy. It doesn't seem feasible.
MANIPULATION: Scheming against her and deceiving her is far more realistic than making her fall for mindgames. She trusts almost no one.
FIGHTING: Go ahead.
INJURY: Go ahead.
KILLING: I'm fine with it unless there are some circumstances involving her death (it has to be complete mutilation), she'll respawn. She also has clones of herself that can be used for that (each as powerful as the real Morgan). Her manifestation (this version of Morgan) can be killed, that said. It's unclear if her original self (one of the Great Mothers of the planet) can go down outside their temporal manifestations. Or if she even looks humanoid at all because they are truly phenomena. A-Rei/A-Rays are manifestations are the highest class of fairies who are basically splits of Earth's Soul: alter egos/divided spirits of the planet. Its organs. The Lord of the Fang Clan's, Woodwose (current generation), source is the "Lungs," for example. And Tsukihime's, another TM work, main heroine is the Brain. Unfortunately, we don't know which organ is Morgan's original. This gets hairy in Type-Moon because the Tsukihime remake might imply Earth is a special planet that contains the "Cosmic Egg" from the Big Bang. I'll never touch it in my rp because it's vague and confusing. Great Mothers/Fathers are called a "greater Mystery" than human divinities because in the setting gods, humans and other species are offsprings of celestial bodies (either Earth or another such as the Greek pantheon).
Feel free to contact me for more information and plotting!

PREFERENCES
MEMES: I love memes, platonic or romantic. I'm rusty with smut, so I'll pass on something too explicit. Found family is my favorite aspect, so I beg anyone who wants to play Sith, to please get in touch with me.
PSLS: That's fine. I don't have a musebox, so it'll have to be in yours.
AUS: Yes! One scenario I'm interested in is Sakura's Servant in Fuyuki someday to explore a platonic found family hurt/comfort with the girl. An AU from HF would be great to play in general.
DO NOT WANT: Chaldea Servant situation is a hard no for now.
SHIPPING: M/f, f/f and x/f are all fine. Superficial meme things are all welcome. More 'serious' development below.
MAIN PAIRINGS: Crosscanon may be easier to establish because it won't have the trust hurdles wrought by Morgan'sobsession commitment to Fairy Britain where those from PHH, other Lostbelts and even her own kingdom are perceived as threats. My pipedream would be exploring any aspect of that implied Wryneck/Aesc/Uther/Mab doomed love quadrangle they had in the Fairy era, but sadly the other three parties would rely on building canon OCs (if anyone is interested, lmk; I'm fine with any combination). Other favorite matches for Morgan in her canon are Woodwose (c'mon), Mash Kyrielight (the person Aesc opened to confess her issues, her first Tam Lin and protector: from a narrative perspective they are foils too), and...Proto Merlin (self-indulgence and toxic girlfriends who are bad at feelings trainwreck). I'm ok with most things, and my hard no is parental incest. If you're not sure, shoot me a PM.
TAG STYLE: Brackets or prose are both fine.
TAG SPEED: It may take me a few days to tag back if I'm swamped in real life and we're playing long threads, but shorter tags can be doable in the same day.
